We have recently found Israel in a new Eden in the middle of the desert, the Tabernacle. With the Tabernacle, Israel will journey through the wilderness for 40 years. In order to understand the lessons of the desert, we have to look at the images of the desert.

Whose resides in the desert? What does this arid, dry, rocky landscape teach us about God and ourselves? This is the place where God begins to take the Egypt out of Israel and Israel begins to learn to be a people of the ears.
