Most know what a somber and reflective day the 9th of Av is in the Jewish world, but we should not limit our thinking only to the Temple building itself. While the Holy Temple was and will be a glorious structure promised by God Himself throughout the Scriptures, what did and does it teach us about our God, us as His children, and our relationship. In this lesson on Tisha b'Av we consider these things in light of the Tanak and Brit Chadashah.

2 Peter 1 gives us a list of attributes that we are to ADD to our faith. In this teaching, we define what each of these attributes look like and give some insight into what they may look like in everyday life.

In 1 Peter 2, we are told that we have become a "royal priesthood". Is this a new concept? What does it mean to be a priest and what are it's implications?

In this teaching we begin to scratch the surface of the priesthood in Scripture and we begin to look at the concept of "kedushah". This is the process of setting apart or making holy in order to serve in the Beit HaMigdash (Holy Temple). We pray you are encouraged by this teaching.
