Faithfulness is possibly the most important part of our lives with God. It is one of the most mentioned commands in Scripture. Every believer has a strong desire to consistently become more faithful, but how? In this teaching, we talk about a strategic plan to increase our faithfulness using one of God's creation that you might not think of... science!

One of the most vital things missing in our world today is hope. We are surrounded by chaos, confusion, and anxiety about how things are and what may lie ahead. Yet, we are children of the King of hope. It's just who God is. Today, we are going to discuss God's personality trait of hopefulness. More importantly for us, what does God's rejection of Cain's gift tell us about how God treats our best attempts to live for Him? One of the most common things we've heard recently is that we are in "unprecedented" times. But are we really? As we look through our Bibles, the pages are filled with plagues, wars, and crises. The times of upheaval recorded in our Scriptures far outweigh the recordings of peace. Is this on purposed? What are we supposed to be learning about hard times as we read our Bibles? The Biblical agenda is to teach us how to keep the main thing the main thing.

In 1 Corinthians, Paul tells us that we are the Temple. How does the Maccabean revolt and the celebration of Hanukkah shed light on what it means to be the Temple. After all, the story of Hanukkah is a story of the Temple. We indeed are the Temple. That being said, it is necessary that we understand our responsibility representing God in this world. That starts with being an appropriate corporate body wherein His presence can be at home.
